This is such a fluid question. Sort of like asking how much a car will cost. Obviously, it depends on the type of car, which features you want, new or old, etc.
Same for a website. The cost depends on a number of variables, such as the size of the site, advanced functionality requirements (e-commerce, membership, etc.) and design complexity. My projects usually start in the $3,500 range for a basic business site and go up from there depending on your requirements.

I accept checks and credit card payments via Stripe. Invoicing is done with ZipBooks.
I take a slightly different approach when creating custom web designs. I use style tiles and live prototype wire frames rather than full site mock-ups in Photoshop.
A style tile is a single page collection of common elements for your website that include colors, typography, textures, patterns and design features. They aren't a literal representation of how the site will look; instead, they set the visual tone for a site
I then create a live prototype wire frame to define the structure and content blocks for your site. Once we've chosen a style tile and defined the structure and content blocks of your site via the live prototype, we "marry" the two -- meaning, I integrate the design and mood of the style tile into the prototype.
Here's a flow chart of how we work together.
Yes, I often use (and love) Beaver Builder, depending on client requirements. I refused all page builders until discovering Beaver Builder. It outputs lean code, plays nicely with other plugins, and does not use short codes. Your content remains even if you deactivate Beaver Builder, something not true for many other page builders.
I was a purist for many years but have realized in the last year that Beaver Builder often serves my client's best interest.
Chris Lema has a great article about Beaver Builder called "Why I recommend Beaver Builder to Freelancers." I recommend reading that article and perhaps his other articles on Beaver Builder to understand why I recommend and use Beaver Builder.
I optimize your project in terms of header tags, meta tags, alt tags and valid, standards-compliant code. I install Yoast SEO and provide training videos for how to optimize your site content with the Yoast plugin. I also use effective permanlink structure.
I do not, by default, offer content strategy guidance on keywords or optimize your site content. My job is to optimize your code, so that nothing stands in the way when it comes to SEO.

I recommend Hover to register and manage domains. They also provide email services. Their customer service is quick and responsive and the prices are competitive.
I provide WordPress Care Packages for my clients that provide regular updates, backups, security monitoring, and more.
I provide 14 days email support after site launch. Follow up support is available either bundled with a WordPress Care Package or as needed. You may purchase support by the hour ($125), or in 5 hour blocks with a 20% discount ($500)
